Dr Austin O’Carroll

Dr Austin O Carroll is an inner-city GP since 1997.

The focus of his career has been improving access for communities affected by marginalization or deprivation to quality primary healthcare.

He founded several initiatives.

He was Dublin HSE Covid Lead for the Homeless Population between 2020 and 2022.

He completed a Doctorate in ethnographic research into the health service usage behaviours of homeless people.

He was a co-founding member of Northdoc.

He received the Fiona Bradley Award; the Time & Tide Award for his work with migrants; the Healthcare professional of the Year Award 2015 and was awarded an Honorary membership of the RCPI the Doolin Award 2019; and Gertrude Ronan

Award 2019.

He was awarded the 5 Star Doctor Award from Wonca Europe in 2020.

He participated in 2016 Paralympics in sailing.

Dr Patricia Davies
Dr Patricia DaviesGP
Dr Patricia Davies MbChB completed her GP training in Sheffield, England in 2018 and has worked as a GP in Ireland since. She joined Grangegorman GP practice in May 2021. She also works in the homeless GP service and teaches GP trainees at RCSI. Her areas of interest are mental health and social inclusion. She currently works at Grangegorman on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Dr Cristina Warren
Dr Cristina WarrenGP
After completing an undergraduate degree in History and Philosophy in TCD in 2007, Dr Cristina Warren graduated from UCC Medical School in 2013. She went on to train as a GP on the North Dublin City GP Training Scheme. She has a special interest in conditions affecting the Ear, Nose and Throat and completed a fellowship for community ENT skills through the RCSI in 2022.
Dr Emily McManus
Dr Emily McManusGP
Dr Emily McManus graduated from the RCSI medical school in 2007. Following graduation, she gained experience in various hospital specialities and completed several stints abroad, working in clinics in the developing world, prior to completing her GP training in Ireland in 2015. She has been with the practice since 2017. She has a special in interest in women’s health and provides services related to long term contraception and all aspects of family planning.
Dr Agnese Eisaka
Dr Agnese EisakaGP
Agnese Eisaka graduated from RCSI with an honour’s degree in Medicine in 2016. As part of her General Practice training, rotated through many of the Dublin Hospitals to gain vast experience in all the areas pertinent to General Practice, with particular interest in Women’s Health and Paediatrics. She is due to complete her General Practice training in October 2023 to become a member of the ICGP and is listed on the Specialist Register of the Irish Medical Council.
Dr Kathleen Walsh
Dr Kathleen WalshGP
Dr Kathleen Walsh (MB BCh BAO MICGP) trained as a doctor in UCD graduating in 2008.  She worked in the Mater and St James’s Hospitals in various surgical specialties becoming a member of the RCSI in 2011.
She completed GP training in London in 2018, became a member of the Royal College of General Practice and returned to Dublin the same year.

Nurses / Focus Care

Brenda Keenan
Brenda KeenanRegistered General Nurse
Brenda joined the practice in 2002 and did her nurse training in Cork University Hospital. She worked in London and AMNCH before going into general practice nursing. She has a keen interest in community nursing and preventative medicine.
Ellen Mitchell
Ellen MitchellFocus Care worker
Ellen completed an undergraduate degree in Social Care and a Master of Arts in Child, Youth and Family Studies at South-East Technological University (SETU), Carlow. Her role provides additional supports to GPs at the practice where the patient’s social needs can be met.
Mary Duffy
Mary DuffyPhlebotomist
Mary Trained in St Vincent’s Hospital and is a retired nurse. She returned to Cappagh Hospital as a phlebotomist and works in Grangegorman on a Wednesday morning.

Management & Administration

Susan McDermott Corvasce
Susan McDermott CorvascePractice Manager
Susan joined Grangegorman Family Practice in 2020. She completed a Diploma in Leadership and Business Management in The Irish Management Institute.
Angela Clarke
Angela ClarkeAccounts/Administration
Angela is local to Dublin 7 and joined the practice in 1998 and loves working here. She is heavily involved in the day to day running of the practice in an administrative role.
Catherine Bolger
Catherine BolgerSenior Receptionist and Administration
Catherine joined the practice in 1999 and continues to love working in the practice. She completed a certificate with the ICGP in Practice Management.
Kathleen Nolan
Kathleen NolanReceptionist and Administrator
Kathleen joined the practice in 2017. She has previous experience working in St Patrick’s Psychiatric Hospital where she coordinated admissions.
